Duffryn Beusych Cottage is sunny and south facing, with open breathtaking views to the Sugar Loaf Mountain in The Black Mountains and Crickhowell and The Usk Valley to the west; Dyffryn Beusych means “dry steading in the valley” and is set on a 300 acre hill sheep farm at high up on the hillside running up to 1200 feet with pasture and ancient woodland. Visitors can picnic and walk on the farm and there is great walking onto the hills and up The Llanthony Valley. This is wonderful walking or riding country visitors can discuss bringing their own horses with the owner. Superb hill walking and many easy walks, pony trekking, mountain biking, hang-gliding and caving are all available locally.
