Take a Walk in the Park!

As a part of its annual programme of activities the Society organises guided walks in or close to the National Park every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are also regular Wednesday walks and additional walks during the year e.g. linked to the Geopark Festival or one of the Walking Festivals in the Brecon Beacons. The walks in the BBPS Programme are free to Members, who may just turn up – no booking required. Non-Members are welcome but it is recommended that they check with the walk leader that the grade of walk is suitable for their abilities. Contact details for the walk leader are given in the walks programme, which is published on the website and is available in Tourist Information Centres in the area. Non-Members will be asked to make a donation of £5 on the day, but this is refundable if you join the Society. Please note that most of the walks in our programme are designed for experienced walkers and you should read carefully the description and the instructions to walkers in the programme before committing yourself.
