    Robert Macdonald

    Robert Macdonald’s work will for the 3rd consecutive year be seen in the beautiful setting of the Gliffaes Country House Hotel during the Crickhowell Open Studio weekend. Robert is a painter and printmaker of considerable repute and newly elected Chairman of the Royal Watercolour Society of Wales. He will be presenting a talk on Monday 26 May – booking is required.     Carys Rodwell has been a popular participant during the Crickhowell Open Studios weekends over the past 3 years. She designs and produces contemporary art glass pieces and pictures with a quirky style from her home studio in Crickhowell. She uses vibrant colour in an imaginative and humorous way.

    David Roy Kerton’s atmospheric paintings have proved extremely popular during the past two Open studio weekends and is sure to delight visitors once again. He paints in acrylic working from sketches, photographs and memories of the Welsh valleys.

    Lucy Corbett has participated previously in the Open Studio event and will again this year be welcoming visitors to The Welsh Academy of Art, during the Open Studio weekend. Classically trained and highly skilled, Lucy creates decorative art and oil paintings.
